Essam founded LifeLink in Calgary in 2024 after seeing clinics run their entire operation across a patchwork of disconnected software — a charting tool here, a scheduler there, a separate billing system, and a handful of communication apps that never talked to each other. That fragmentation is the problem LifeLink is built to remove: one platform for clinical charting, Alberta H-Link billing, scheduling, and patient communication, with AI handling the busywork rather than the judgment calls.
LifeLink went through Platform Calgary’s first pre-accelerator cohort, and is built and supported from Calgary for clinics across Alberta and Canada.
