Why we exist

Healthcare software has tolerated friction for too long

Clinics should not need five vendors to run a day of care. LifeLink exists to replace that patchwork with one secure, clinician-first platform.

Charting, scheduling, billing, and patient communication often live in separate tools that do not share context. The result is wasted hours, missed revenue, and data trapped in silos. We started in Calgary in 2023 to change that.

Essam Abdelhamid, Founder & CEO

Essam founded LifeLink in Calgary in 2023 after seeing clinics run their entire operation across a patchwork of disconnected software: a charting tool here, a scheduler there, a separate billing system, and communication apps that never talked to each other. LifeLink removes that fragmentation with one platform for clinical charting, Alberta H-Link billing, scheduling, and patient communication, with AI handling busywork rather than judgment calls.

LifeLink went through Platform Calgary’s first pre-accelerator cohort and remains built and supported from Calgary for clinics across Alberta and Canada.
